Fort Smith AR Maintenance Mechanic




  • Semiskilled in: welding, plumbing, carpentry

  • Knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot process/plant equipment

  • Perform preventive/routine maintenance on compressors, fork trucks, oilers, and filters

  • Read and understand blueprints

  • Semiskilled in: work as machinist, electrician, HVAC technician

  • Perform complete start-up of production run

  • Perform form tooling and shear maintenance

  • Setup drum and shear tools during changeovers

  • Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment

  • Equipment removal & installation

  • Performs other designated duties of the quality system as assigned.

  • Conducts duties in accordance with plant safety policies and procedures



Required: 3 years of experience in maintenance production machinery.

Preferred: Degree in Industrial Technology or similar degree



Required: Basic knowledge of extrusion, vacuum systems, material transfer, air systems, preventative maintenance, safety equipment, fork trucks, & plumbing

Preferred: Knowledge of HDPE and PP processing; knowledge of dry offset printing technologies.
