The Machine Operator is responsible for running Rotary Thermal Forming, Print, and Scoring lines. The successful candidate will ensure that operations are consistent with the requirements of the Quality System and internal and external customer specifications, and assist with material handling as needed.
Job Requirements
- Coordinates the efforts of the work team on an assigned line
- Ensures that quality requirements are met
- Performs all assigned tasks according to work instructions
- Ensures effective communication with the team and production department
- Controls production as defined in work instructions
- Assists supervisor with material handling
- Conducts duties in accordance with plant safety policies and procedures
- Successful completion of all required training modules for Operator Assistant, Material Handler, QA/QC and Operator
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including the heat
- Repetitive bending from the upright position to approximately a 35 degree angle
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, which requires bending and stooping
